 Short Vowels are the main focus for Mr. Know-Its MagnaBox 1. Thirty-five different overlays develop skills for individual or partner work. Students place magnetic letters on the overlays to form words. They also build words using letter patterns (word families) by placing magnetic letter or writing with a dry-erase pen. Students will spell words by writing or building with the letter tiles to extend their skills in phonics.
